2. What is the deadline for registration and payment?
The deadline registration and for payment is February 28 of the current year.
3. What do "A" "AA" "AAA" correspond with?
"A” Regional League teams;
"AA” Inter-regional League teams; (Ex: LLL (Laval, Laurentides, Lanaudière), Concordia, Lac St-Louis,Zone 2)
"AAA” Provincial League teams (LSEQ)
4. When will games be played for Boys and Girls Tournament?
Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 6 April 2013 for the Boys and Girl tournament.
5. What are the Activity hours?
As possible the tournament will not start before 17h on Friday night, and at 7:30h Saturday and Sunday mornings. The last games on Friday and Saturday night shoud be between midnight and one o'clock (1). This schedule may change without notice due to the numbers of teams who will participate. We will do everything possible that the 16 years old and less play at a descent time.
6. What's the size is the field?
The size of the field is 100 feet (30 m) of width by 200 feet (60 m) of length.
7. Where the tournament being held and how do we get there?
At the Bois-de-Boulogne Centre in Laval at 955 Bois-de-Boulogne You can find a map on the Maps digit on the main page infos.
8. When do we need to be present to register before the games?
All players and coaches must be present one (1) hour before the first game with the seven completed game sheets and affiliation cards. For the other games only a coach/manager must be present at the table to register before games with an official completed game sheet
9. We come from a distant region, do you provide hotel accommodation?
No, each team is responsible of their lodging. However, we have partner Hotels listed on our website to help you.
10. Which Hotel is the nearest form the event?
Most of Hotels are located at ten minutes from site.
11. Is there any restaurants near Bois-de-Boulogne Centre?
Yes, directly on the site and on Des Laurentides and St-Martin boulevards you will find many restaurants.
12. Can we use guest players?
You may use guest players as long as they are registrered in a club and at the federation (valid affiliation card) and that they don't play with an other team in the same tournament.
13. Can a player play for more than one team?
No.
14. Can we have older players in our team?
No, categories must be respected (year of birth)
15. Can a player or a team register in superior categories?
Yes, they can regiser in older category. The recognized categories in Quebec are: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, so a U10 may play in U10, U11, U12, U13 but not U14. To be sure, ask by email to the tournament responsible.
16. What documents does a player need in order to be double over-ranked?
He must supply a medical certificate and a parental authorization.
17. Can girls be member of a boys team?
Yes, as long as they are in the same category of age.
18. What kind of affiliation card (player or coach) should we have?
Affiliation card approved by your region.
19. Do we need a performance bond?
No performance bond is required.
20. We come from a distant region, at what time will be our first game?
As possible, for teams coming from distant regions, the first game will be played on saturday morning after nine (9) o'clock.
21. We are a school team, can we participate to the tournament?
No, the team must be affiliated to a club, an association or a federation.
22. How many members of the coaching staff are allowed on the bench?
3 staff people can accompany the team on the bench during the game. (coach, assistant or manager).
23. Are there awards for those who finish in 3rd place?
No, only Finalists (2nd place) and Champions (1st place) will receive prizes.
